Multiple people killed by subway trains in NYC: officials

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Separate incidents at Brooklyn and Manhattan subway stations resulted in two deaths on Sunday, according to officials.
One person was hit and killed by a subway train at the Sutter Avenue Station near Snediker Avenue in Brooklyn around 6 p.m., according to officials.

L trains are running with delays in both directions following the emergency response, the MTA announced.
A second person was hit and killed by a train at the East Broadway Station near Canal Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan sometime after 7 p.m., police confirmed.
The F trains were rerouted to the A line between W 4th St-Washington Square and Jay St-MetroTech Stations in both directions while the emergency response teams worked. MTA said trains have resumed services with delays.
Police said both incidents did not involve a crime, and both victims were walking between train cars before they died.
