120+ trillion dollars of wealth is hoarded by the top 10% of the country, and 42 trillion of that is held by the 1%, and another 124 trillion will be inherited in another 2 decades, but get yours though, right.
Its intended to be a social mixing area for the wealthy. Id compare it to country clubs or golfclubs or motor clubs with high dues, but make excellent networking opportunities for bankers, biglaw lawyers, consultants, stock people, c-suites, probate equity, and vC guys.
Went there when I was in LA. Literally the most bougie place I've ever been to. Expensive for no reason, unseasoned everything. I wonder how good it'll do in NYC.
