It cost roughly like 5k a minute at minimum.

nikkas don't know how much loss of service will run you until you thr one who has to restore service.
@5:20 they said power will be out for at least 3 hours and in a 3-block radius. it looks like 2 family homes in the background and in nyc a single block of 2-family homes can easily have 1,000 residents. at minimum we're talking about 12k residents and if 5% of them were still home at the time which isn't unreasonable, thats 600 people at minimum immediately affected. countless refrigerated goods affected too.:francis:

3 hours = 180 minutes

180 * $5,000 = $900,000 minimum not including damages to MTA bus and service interruption.:huhldup:

The city will also fine them daily if they don't restore it at a reasonable time.

BTW this will get negotiated and it will be lowered.

If someone dies because of lack of power, add that in too.

Price for a fatality, is very expensive
