Blah Blah Blahhhhhhh..what's good? Never left. WE don't make NY the topic of discussion.. YALL out of towners go O.D. with it because of your constant need and fixation to speak on what you don't know. You're not "bad mouthing" anything. What you state would actually need meaning in order for it to be of any concern. How are you telling NYers what the reality is when you don't know. You don't see me bc I'm falling back from discussing the same routine shyt every day week after week bc yall always want to start some shyt based off your insecurities. The envy shows, I don't need to see it.
I'm not speaking to NYers when i said this. I wont claim to be able to tell you what your city is like. We're reacting to an article and sharing our experiences and perception of the same place the article is about.
Again, i never understood why people live there but do you. As far as making it the topic of conversation, for decades NYers have wondered around bragging and boasting about how great it is to live in NY. When i moved to this country most of my friends were NYers and all i heard was them complain about how Miami (where they lived at the time) was so horrible and they regretted their parents moving out of NY. Same thing when i moved to GA. All my NY friends did was brag and boast about NY and complain, complain, complain about the how ATL/MIA was not NY and standard of living could never meet or beat that of NY.
But none of them will give up their new roomy and comfortable apartments or homes down south for their old glorified closets up north, tho
Call me envious or whatever but over the years i just got annoyed with New Yorkers. Their constant complaining especially gets to me at time. So it aint envy. It's more like i wanna laugh at them after they spent so much time glorifying something that has eventually been exposed.
Doesn't make sense to you?? How are you judging other people's lifestyles??? Who cares what you think- if people have the careers and out here grinding for theirs and are striving with what they do - it makes sense. First of all - What city or state are you in??
I've lived in many cities and a 3 different countries on this green earth, darling. Currently I live in Atlanta GA. Who knows where i'll be next but we'll see. And no i've never lived in NY before you ask. Only times i spent in NY was when i worked up there of a few projects which required me to stay there for a few weeks (3-6) at a time.
