This African guy I work with..forgot exactly where he's from...he's been bragging about sending a certain amount back to his home country and said when he's retired in two years..he's gonna be able to live like a king down there. I told him "Congrats".

I preach to the AAs here. Tired of the cacs being the only ones who know how far the dollar can take them. Btw those houses are overpriced. And you can live like a king. See what the AAs say who come to Africa.

I don’t give a fukk about supply and demand. That whole concept is used and abused. I love NYC, but I wouldn’t pay that much in rent even if I was making enough to pay it. $2,980 is fukking inflated robbery. And we all know that six motherfukkers will be living up in those apartments. That’s some wetback spic illegal apartment shyt. But with midwest cacs.

My guy Jersey isn’t that cheap unless you plan to live deep in NJ plus with the tolls and car related expenses it won’t be that cheaper

Way cheaper than nyc. Seen 1bd rooms for 900 and 1k. You are gonna save hundreds every month.

Scust. Pay more than 50% of your income to live in a dusty ass cold tomb brehs.

Only hope is to let that shyt crash HARD and scare off the gentrifiers. The reason it gets like this is because of people coming in and buying homes and not even fukking living in em because it's an investment.

Rich cacs stay fukking up everything :francis:

Being critical of such rent prices is not hating and people shouldn't buy the argument that income for MOST people is adjusted for the cost of living including rent prices.

Just do a Google city data search. The median HOUSEHOLD income is $60000 and lower in "chic" "in style" places like Brooklyn. Now people making the argument that it's a hustler city which is true but NYC is not immune from all the economic trends that has affected the country such as wage stagnation income inequality etc...

Paying $3000 for a 1 bedroom is absurd by any standard if you really study how much MOST people especially minorities are making. Not everybody is a hedge fund manager. Do not let people fool you with outliers such as passing down of property from generation to another. I'm talking about people who dont have that luxury.
