This should be da case everywhere.
Can't wait for the fukkery when people already employees see the ranges for the same role
They don’t negotiate the mostWhy did that say good news for working women like they the only ones this helps or that matter?
im interviewing for a new position now and you're 100% correct. This law will do absolutely nothing![]()
multiple positions open due to the great resignation, many workers want to WFH (Which they hate) AND the interviewer admitted I have more experience than the majority of folks he's been interviewing.
Time to raise prices. Been telling my homies now is the time to shift for higher pay. im interviewing for a new position now and you're 100% correct.
Salary ranges from the employer show 40k-110k in some cases. It's absolutely ridiculous. Some are more narrow like 65k-75k and others are just one salary like 90k. But wayyyyyyyy too many have that big ass range and many many more list nothing. I guarantee you when the law kicks in all the companies that list nothing with have nonsense ranges.
Frustratingly though is they ask you your desired salary in the early stages of the interview and I gave him one in the middle. I'm going through the process now. They love the kid and are getting back to me with an offer in the coming days. That's when I start my negotiations for more $$$$multiple positions open due to the great resignation, many workers want to WFH (Which they hate) AND the interviewer admitted I have more experience than the majority of folks he's been interviewing.

fukk their ranges.

"Breh that's the shyt I do too lol . I negotiate AFTER the offer letter is sent. Make em sweat
And companies just gonna put a 55k-200k on the job posting, how can they get reprimanded? If anyone asks, they'll be like "This was our budget range"

Yes Colorado was the baseline for this lawI believe Colorado does this. I noticed on remote jobs that they always post the salary if you live in Colorado
