You seriously think that walking around with a loaded gun in your hand. Which increases the risk of everyone around you. Then hearing a noise and squeezing the trigger and firing a shot at someone is a fukkin "accident?"

You forget he intentionally fired his gun in the direction of a noise.
I don't care if he was "startled."

Shooting at noises in a stairwell is no accident breh. Stop.

That's different.....in the legal sense, no that's manslaughter because you still intentionally shot at someone knowing death was a possibility.....in the strictest literal sense, yes; you still accidentally shot the wrong person...so therefore it's technically an accident as opposed to if you had shot your intended target

Again....intent. It's why murder and manslaughter are different things under the law

And for the record I never referred to the incident in the OP as an accident (I was only addressing your sidewalk example first)....I just suggested it wasn't the same thing as the other cold-blooded murders by cops. But it also wasn't really an accident either because he shot the person who made the noise in the dark, which he intended to do in the first place. But he did it out of being a panicky lil hoe who had no business being around a gun; not out of wanting to shoot someone for the hell of it. Of course that doesn't make the situation any better....

Is it me or is it a bit odd that the cop that finally takes the fall for killing a black man in NYC is a Chinese cop? Like the jury felt no remorse since he technically wasn't one of their own. Make me wonder what woulda happened if Eric Garners killer was Chinese...
