NYPD Officer Introduced to Asphalt

An NYPD officer reportedly sustained a head injury after he fell while joyriding on top of a police cruiser. Video obtained by New York's Eyewitness News shows the officer lying on the hood of the moving cop car in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood. When the vehicle stops, the officer is thrown to the ground.

According to the New York Daily News, police do not know why the cop was riding on the moving car.

The unnamed officer was taken to Lutheran Medical Center for his injury. The officer driving the patrol car has reportedly been suspended for his role in the incident.
