Yup and they get literal cash incentives from the state to move here, along with other incentives in regards to home ownership. Every election, theres some sort of legislature that passes to give incentives to "First Responders", most of that shyt goes to Cops. Thanks Desantis!

At times it feels like a lot of New Yorkers PERIOD are moving to Florida in droves 
IMO only advantage it has over NYC is a cheaper COL, IDK if that's even still the case since the pandemic began and housing prices skyrocketed nationwide.
Hot and humid state and you can't even drink the tap water, how does that make any sense? How do ppl without A/C even survive in Florida? 2022 and you still gotta buy bottled water in bulk
I consume a LOT of water during the summer and I wouldn't want to live down there off of the tap water issue alone.

This is nothing new. NYer and NY cops have always moved to Florida. South Flordia is often called the 6th borough of NY due to so many former Nyers who live there.
