Club scene in general is trash due to phones

Well I was out last night and I had a blast. The club was so packed but the music was dope. Only time I saw people take the phones out was when dudes just started breakdancing.
I think bottle service killed it way more than phones

@Stick Up Kid is there a correlation between the trash NYC club scene and gentrification?
-no one in their right mind wanna wait on line forever to get in
-security too heavy handed and
-NY gentrified as fukk
-lounge/bar scene way better, less BS and no cover
-actual musical content has fallen off considerably
-phones, phones, phones!
- $14 cocktails vs nips or your local bar with a better vibe, TVs, wings and bytches
-no more venues where hip hop had dedicated nights. Those days are never coming back. City too gentirifies and those venues are probably condos now.
-no perceived reason to cater to an “urban” crowd when these club owner come into it with a mindset
-security too heavy handed and

Haven’t been to a club this decade. Don’t miss it one bit. Club scene is where broke nobodies get a bit of power/attention. The whole vibe was becoming trash 10 years ago and seems like it is complete trash now.
