Gonna be interesting how this plays out in the longer conversation about so called cancel culture. He learned a valuable lesson though. Don't discuss social issues or politics on the job. The biggest mistake you can make on the job is discussing political views, race, religion, gender, etc. Do your job. All it takes is offending one person and that domino effect can be ruthless.

I remember when I was a kid it was just protocol not to talk politics in public. You were seen as inappropriate doing so. Maybe we need to return to that?
