Stadium cart ran out of gas
Locals were done supporting the team I believe... they weren't going to show up after all that went down.I still don’t understand why they couldn’t of just played in oak until they moved

No fanbase would. Gut the roster, jack up ticket prices, intentionally let the stadium fall into disrepair, trash the city and the fans, fire concession stand workers so every line takes way longer, make fewer tickets available anyway, be a deadbeat tenant, and spend decades trying to leave seems like a surefire way to ensure nobody shows up. Wikipedia has the coliseum at a maximum capacity for baseball of 56,782 and the A’s have been drawing around 9800 fans per game in recent years. That is not a small market or even close to it and they were filling up just 17% of the stadium’s maximum capacity. You have to be a special breed of toxic to do that. The warriors and raiders didn’t have attendance problems and they played in the same lot/building.Locals were done supporting the team I believe... they weren't going to show up after all that went down.
