Its not that deep. Many ppl are lactose intolerant. Others want to control their sugar/fat intake. I personally think oat milk tastes like piss water but its simply a milk alternative who those who want to avoid cow's milk.

These dairy alternatives are all crap and have less nutritional value than real milk. Only milk alternative you should consider is water. Otherwise i would focus on how the milk is produced. Myself i prefer organic
