Police are already killing you guys for no reason so staying armed should be a top priority. It would work better if protesters where armed and trained by other blacks with experience though. Always better to keep things like this in house.
In all seriousness, while the Oath Keepers aren't explicitly racist, they're the ideological children of the 90s racist militia movement. These are the guys that helped out at the Bundy ranch.
Their leader is smart. Yale Law grad if I remember correctly. He's also spoken about the President starting race wars so I don't know how he figures this into that notion.
When you look at these militias and their stances, anti government rhetoric is also coupled with racist and anti Semitic feelings. They may arm 50 black folks but it won't be your average Joe, they're gonna pick folks who fit into their Real American worldview.
