im not following what the big deal is either way, all it does is make report of housing patterns
but anyways integration should not be a goal for black people, our goal should be to develop black neighborhoods
this is true. be like every other group. BUT, this is a very very difficult task for black folks. we know this because we see it.

all black or mostly black community has been around for 40 years. the best they could get is a walmart and a target in the area. maybe a buffalo wild wings and a kfc, mcdonalds, $1 chinese food spot.
same community is gentrified by whites. 5 years later. they have a best buy around the corner, they have not so fast food options where healthy options are apart of the menu. here comes all sorts of amenities that the very same black community never had. why didnt the new developers put these places in the area when blacks were there?
Well because they're racist #1.
#2. blacks as a whole are broke in comparison to their white counterparts. which means if i develop too much good stuff around you. your broke a.... wont be able to afford it and those places will go out of business. again, this is due to racism we have endured throughout the centuries. which is why we're so far behind economically and why they are so far ahead.
So the only other way to pull it off is to have a bunch of rich black folks kick in and develop stuff in that manner. well that has happened on a very small scale in certain areas. but for the most part for some reason these rich black folks are not ready to do anything as focused as develop black communities.
think about it for a moment. what IF, 50% shoot forget it. 30% of all black ballers got together and said we're going to start a coalition where we keep funneling money into a program where we make darn sure black neighborhoods across the US are developed properly just like/similar to their white counterparts. That would be huge. but it hasnt happened yet. and i dont see it happening anytime soon. part of the reason is the more we mix and mingle. the less we understand GROUP THINK. these other groups have been at the Group think for centuries. we have a long way to go to catchup.
