I will never forget they made him be the one to apologize to the Japanese for the atomic bomb. A lot of groups have received reparations in America even Jews. The debt owed to black people cant be paid it’s impossible because nothing will ever undo what they did to us and continue to do. Literal things meant to help like the GI Bill we were forcibly excluded from when it should’ve been like how Kennedy sent the national guard when the little kids intergrated schools. The period just after the Civil War speaks to it so much because that’s where the ball was dropped the most. The conspiracy to kill Lincoln that succeeded did so much harm that today it’s hard to put into words. To put it in perspective I’ll use sports in Baseball the National league started in 1876 there was Black players until they were banned in 1887 when a vote decided that black players wouldn’t be allowed new contracts it took until Jackie Robinson in 1947 to get Black people back into baseball. There are people alive who saw before Jackie could play. There were black republicans who were elected in honest elections who had the elections stolen and a portion were barred from assuming office .

And I’m talking about the citizens, but the government in that case. But let’s talk about the government too. You think a government who actively built highways through prosperous black neighborhoods will willingly pass a bill for reparations? You think a government that coordinated the assassination of multiple prominent black civil rights leaders will SERIOUSLY entertain the idea of reparations, straight up? Y’all nikkas need to stop living in a fantasy land. Reparations will have to be strategically coerced out of the pockets of this racist country. Ain’t no basic bill gonna get no damn reparations without serious fight and collateral damage.
