Basically Obama perpetuated the status quo. No more no less. He stayed in neutral. He didn't put the car in drive or reverse. Bush Jr. was the ultimate fukk up but at least he drove the car with no fukks given. All the mess Bush created and Obama didn't even try to right the course. his neutral mentality has basically left the country stagnant especially the economy. Corporations kept of the stat quo and Wall Street not only kept the stat quo but managed to get through what they did unpunished. He was supposed to bring peace to the middle east because he "unites", giving speeches in Germany on this campaign trail but the Middle East is worse off than before he took office. His first four years were a big success. He was handed an economy losing millions of jobs. He had two major goals for his first administration domestically. The establish from both parties neutered the 2 trillion stimulus( regular man's bail out ) to 700 b while the media called it Obama's trillion dollar stimulus. Then the establishment turned the president's univesal healthcare pledge into a fine. Meanwhile he becomes a tough guy when it comes to drones, deportations, spying and everything else on the list. In the end he made a strong effort domestically and continued the foreign policy trajecetory he was told to continue. Second term has been a little more of a disappointment. He doesn't even really have a domestic agenda anymore.

I think his presidencies have a lot of value. I know seeing him elected was a really big deal for me as a teen. Obama has largely been one disappointment among many in the sea of American leaders, but doesn't deserve the impeachment he has coming to him.

Well. Considering Bush started a war for no reason, Bill Clinton and George Bush Sr. both pledged to stop the genocides happening during their terms, and then did nothing, and Reagan was the antiChrist, I'd say Obama isn't that bad. Certainly a massive disappointment, even more so with a Congress that's against him, but compared to the other Presidents during your lifetime, he's not that bad.
