While I too have the same privilege at my job, not every job in the U.S. offers paid sick leave. I remember reading somewhere that over 40% of the private sector doesn't get it.

I think this impacts Retail type gigs, because most Corporate jobs allocate time separate from Vacation time that is used for sick days and family emergencies.

Some companies give their hourly employees both. Like you may get 20 vaca days and 10 sick days.

It's fukking pathetic how the rught and conservatites bytch about Obama care, the new two years of free community college and shyt that actually helps people, but then turn around and support war and imperialism. They have no problem with is funding and supporting Israel with billions of dollars to kill and oppress Palestinians but complain about their taxes going to help people who cant afford health insurance and school.

A lot of people don't. My dads apart of the Union and while the union has great benefits, he doesnt get paid sick or vacation days.

and then those who have vacation days and what not about 40% of those people dont take them and i know companies have stopped rolling over days into the new year. my company doesnt even offer sick days they just say if your sick dont come in hahahaha i been sick alot hahahahaha
