Obama (and W Bush) did some great things for Africa but I'll always be stunned that the US virtually allowed China to get such a large foothold into the continent, to the point that the US's future in Africa seems like an afterthought. The "pivot" to Asia was obviously the smart thing to do, and they did it...but the administration should have found a way to better position the US as a friend (lol) of Africa.
