Was just bumping Return to the 36th Chambers and remember looking back at how underwhelming Tical was.

I was actually surprised ODB dropped a better album than Meth back then.

I always thought the general consensus was that Tical was hotter in the streets. ODB first album was much better imo It even holds up to today.

Dirty's album was the craziest shyt ever. No structure on any of the songs...Singing, rapping, just ranting. Its really brilliant. The fact that Gza admits that Dirty bit half the verses from him doesn't even take away from it, it actually makes it better imo...

I always thought Tical was the weakest link out of that first wave of Wu releases, but it's still dope.

I agree as well. but then again, of the 1st batch of wu-solo albums, I always thought meth's was the weakest. and I'm strictly referring to the following:

Tical
return to the 36
liquid swords
OB4CL
ironman

and of the 2nd batch of wu-solos its not fukking with:

the pillage
bobby digital in stereo
uncontrolled substance

TBH Return is probably the Wu solo I bump the most, not the best (tie between Cuban Linx and Liquid Swords for me) but ODB's craziness with Rza just not giving a f*ck was

We never got The Abbott and the Crazy Monk album tho
