Officer ambushed in Bay Area 1 dead

Police Chief Larry Esquivel said at a news conference early Wednesday that it was difficult to pinpoint Dunham's motive or mindset. A neighbor told KRON (http://bit.ly/1DZGCcz ) that Dunham had recently lost his job. A niece also told the television station that her uncle had untreated mental health issues. Police classified him as intoxicated at the time.

"It's unfortunate that this person had the nerve, the audacity, to shoot at our officers that were responding to a call for service, for assistance," Esquivel said.

I feel really sorry for the Families if all involved! But why did this officer approach so carelessly? Because he was Caucasian! Had he been any other race guns would have already been drawn and they would have been ready to shoot! The call said he had a gun!

he did not approach carelessly . he just approached. No one could have predicted that the suspect would be targeting officers with a gun . it happened in an instant, and before he realized what was happening it was too late. Please stop. . An officer lost his life protecting people like you who make everything a race issue based on HIS SKIN COLOR AND UNIFORM instead of the real reason. believe it or not , not everything in this life is racially motivated.

So, NOOOWWW its not about race. When the shooter was anonymous it was those "protected minorities" but since we know that the shooter is white, race is no longer an issue. Ok, I see.
