2015 is wrapped up.

2016 is about to kick off with a new David Bowie album. That first track Blackstar is

He has now released another track off of it



Another good one I'm really looking forward to the album

And in GOAT news, M83 is finished with the new album and its dropping next year what a time to be alive

Chromatics should be dropping

James Blake should be dropping

Kanye should be dropping

Can we please get a surprise Bon Iver album?

I just downloaded the DIIV album (which from what I've seen is scheduled for a March 2016 release)

Anyone know what I can expect? I dled it before I left for work this morning. Plan on giving it a listen when I get home later

That Bowie is available. I haven't had a chance to give a full listen but it sounds real nice from what I have sampled

Though May 2016 is three years since MVOTC, which is the amount of time they took between Contra and MVOTC. I wouldn't be surprised if they take longer for LP4 tho.

Got that Bowie preordered, but this month is also the 40th anniversary of Station to Station...that'll hold me over

Listening right now. Its what I expected. Really great music, especially the guitar work, but the vocals leave a bit to be desired. Diversity is lacking a bit for a 63 minute album too.

I'm not sure this band is capable of making an album better than an 8/10, but they are very consistent around that level.

First album of 2016 to make the big board


Strong 8.5/10 for me. I can see this at 86+ on Metacritic easily

Other than the perfect title track, I dig 'Girl Loves Me' the most I think

This Savages album needs to drop immediately. Everything they've previewed from it so far has ranged from great to absolutely incredible
