We all gotta thank the Titans for firing Vrabel :salute:

Maye looks better and more comfortable every week. The first few weeks of the season he was hitting a lot of short/intermediate passes. But now you can see him open it up and going deep the last 3 weeks. Throws a beautiful long ball.

The OL, while protecting well for the most part, can still be schemed when it comes to stunts. They gotta clean that up.

Defense is top 5 in scoring average, but the LBs looks like it can be exploited in the passing game. They either need to get someone before the trade deadline, or give more snaps to Mapu or have Dugger in there to play the pass. That unit needs speed.

The most underrated thing Vrabel did was going out and surrounding himself with some good coaches. Josh is an elite OC. Marrone is as good as anyone you can get to coach the OL.

I think the team can get to 11 wins this year.

Great to see Maye make the year 2 progression. We can really get to about 11 wins if we keep this up. Maye has a bit of Josh Allen about him and that's a good thing.

The potential of this team is limitless, but there are two issues that could impact their long-term success.

1. Maye - He is playing at a Top 10 or even Top 5 level as a quarterback, yet he is taking too many hits. Some of these are due to the OL, but he is also responsible for some of those hits himself.

2. CB2- The team should consider looking for another cornerback before the trade deadline. The current situation with Carlton Davis is suspect, and he could be bullied against better competition this season and the postseason.

It's still surprising to think that this team has a path to the playoffs.

Another great win!

1. People are going to keep brining up the Patriots strength of schedule. Yes, it has not been the strongest, but they area beating the teams they should beat, and beating them pretty handedly. You don't see that with every team. That is a sign of a team that doesn't play with it's food and it ready to go for every game.

2. Maye has looked absolutely fantastic. I know there are many numbers and statistics out there showing how elite he has been, but even putting those aside, just watching his throws and decision making, you see the ability and production. I am beyond impressed.

3. The defense has been playing very well for the most part. I think they'll only continue to get better as long as they stay healthy.

4. I'm not saying he's a #1 WR, but I can see why Boutte was ranked as the #2 WR coming out of high school. He has made some excellent plays this season. You just feel confident that when the ball is thrown his way that he's going to come down with it.

5. I liked seeing Henderson get going a little bit yesterday. I was also pleasantly surprised with the hands that Stevenson showed yesterday on some of those throws from Maye.

6. I'd like to see Douglas get some more snaps as he has that big play ability. I'll also say that Mack Hollins has been a very solid addition to the team.

The next few games should be a bit more of a test than they've had the past few weeks, but I like the Patriots chances. I'm not saying they will, but they could very well end up being on a ten game winning streak when Buffalo comes to Foxborough........with the hope that the streak reaches eleven games that night.:banderas:.

On another note, I know hindsight is 20/20 and we never know how things would have played out, but winning that game in week 18 probably cost the Patriots comes great trade ammo.

Let's just say they lost that last game. They would have had the first overall pick and likely traded it to the Titans/Browns/Giants/Jaguars/. Let's say the Patriots ended up picking Will Campbell with whatever pick they got from one of those teams, the Patriots would likely have one of those teams first rounders for 2026. Do you think that the Patriots would have given that pick up along with their own 2026 first round pick for Myles Garrett?

Edit: I am perfectly fine with where they are, but after seeing Garrrett dominate the other day, the scenario popped into my mind.
