This is by far our biggest need. Brunson for all the praise he’s gotten as a scorer (which he rightly deserves) he just finished this series against Indiana with 34 assist and 24 turnovers. Add in the slower pace and that’s what lost us this series.

I wanted to return to this statement. For transparency reasons Brunson had more turnovers than both SGA and Haliburton did in the conference finals.

Brunson ast/t.o = 34/24
SGA AST/T.O ratio against Minnesota = 41/14
Tyrese Haliburton AST/T.O ratio = 63/9

Can’t win like this.

With that Game 1 loss, I’m going to liken this to the Giants loss vs the Eagles with the 31-10 comeback when DeSean Jackson ran the punt return for a touchdown at time expired in 2010-11.

Why? Because the Giants came back and won the title the season after to mitigate that pain.

Just gotta hope the Thunder crush these dudes to avoid the storytelling factor of it all.

I feel for Hart because he was given far too much of a role. He's at his best in small doses, but the moment Thibs fell in love with him, it was over.

True but I also think his brand of basketball is so addictive that you forget that he's not THAT talented. His guile and heart carries him and it makes you wish he was better OR that someone like KAT had his intangibles.
