Like I said, he might have been able to do it, but it would've been much more difficult. I also find it extremely hard to wrap my head around being able to move Bernie towards compromising on any of his positions the way Biden has if he were the nominee.I subscribe to Bitecofer’s negative partisanship argument for why any D candidate would have been able to consolidate the tent but there would be unique challenges to each. Like with Sanders and suburbanites. But ultimately it’s a referendum on Trump.
Aren't we all?I think it’s more about engaging the voters who haven’t been catered to. Everyone knows Latino voters require attention and an economic agenda especially right now is what’s needed. That’s the hat tip Sanders has been trying to give.
I think this is being blown way up over nothing though. Everyone wants to win and Sanders wants Biden foot on neck it’s obvious. Cause he’s terrified of the aftermath if it’s narrow.
I get that he's trying to highlight some weaknesses. Great. It's just unnecessary to me and just feeds into more of the "Bernie should've been nominee, corrupt DNC, Dems in disarray" political horseshoe shyt we've been trying to avoid the media grabbing ahold of since April.

and he called himself an FDR Democrat instead of a Socialist.
you cant just act like people dont like them, but they're as easy as implementing them as it looks on paper. there ARE drawbacks if you were to implement some of this stuff
bernie sanders is not some magic genie who can snap his fingers and healthcare becomes better and faster and cheaper and there arent any negatives
