It's salvageable, but we def need to pay the money for a quality starter. I'm unsure if we have the farm to make a move, but we def have to solidify the rotation. I agree with your other post that for next season we can't bank on guys who had good form in the playoffs to carry form into next season.

I guess we'll have to see how serious Rogers is to compete. We have to do a major retool if we want to make playoffs and go for a run

They had chance after chance. This was a really bad loss tbh. Not a single reliever did their job man

Thing is you got to have some production later in the line up too . Varsho was very disappointing offensively

Lukes didn’t contribute all series. Not even defensively lol

This loss is all on schneider. Last 3 games we loss is because of inept management.

Dude treating lukes like he's tony gwynn, he's a friggin 31 year scrub who was a minor league player for 10 years. Dude should have been hitting 9th or not even in teh lineup at all.

I think Rogers most likely realizes how much revenue a winning team generates. A hot Jays team gets support across the country and has a wide reach in demographics. Rogers spent a lot of money in renovating the skydome, and a serious team is how they strengthen brand. I think they know revenue-wise they have to hit while the iron is hot. Even though this is one of the worst loss ever , they most likely gained a lot of new fans. If the team is junk next season, then they're going to lose a lot of fans they gained during this run.

Rogers has the money, and as a business it seems logically to step up if they want to maintain. I know we've been burned but they really might have to make a move for Tatsuya Imai. I know it's hard to predict how good players from the NPB will be, but I think it's time we start looking to bring in Japanese players. It feels we've missed out and the talent seem to be much better these days.

Look at the seattle mariners 53 years and never have eevn made it to a world series.

It's hard hell I even say the teams we had with bautista , edwin, were better than this team and they didn't even make it this far.

Look how we had to battle against the yankees, mariners to even get here and if you don't win the al beast you gotta go through 3 teams
