Went to a game back in the spring and renovated Sky Dome is actually :leon:

New kids zone they got is great touch if you got small kids. Can have them playing around with clear site lines of the game :wow:

Definitely the most worthwhile live experience left both from $ and overall feel perspective.
I was there last month, concession prices tho :scust:

They finished the renovations before last season (2024)

They started them before the 2023 season, now the skydome/Rogers centre actually feels like a true modern major league ballpark. The vibes are fun and the amenities are top notch even though concession prices are expensive. I went to three games (a series against the Red Sox) last year when Justin turner was still on the team.

Vladdy with a 1.075 OPS in August :wow:

Been steady climbing every month

He always gets better as the season goes on. He’s a much better hitter in the second half than in the first. Even when the jays sucked last year, he was still a great hitter after the all star weekend.

And he hit a clutch 2-run homer in the bottom of the 7th this afternoon to give the jays a 2-1 win against the Cubs.

Applied to the season seat waitlist and these guys are out to lunch. Definitely capatilizing on the current success. All these new premium seating areas at like 40k a seat (bar high tops) No thanks lol.

The Rangers bullpen lost the game for Texas. What a meltdown By them. Meanwhile the jays bullpen shutdown the rangers hitters.

Toronto catcher Alejandro Kirk had a great performance. He had a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 6th, then a 2 RBI single in the bottom of the 8th, and surprisingly, he also had a stolen base tonight.

Jays trailed 3-0 then 3-2 then 5-2 but found a way to come back and win 6-5 after all.

Only knew Vladi, now I know we got a Bieber

In his Toronto Blue Jays debut, and his first start in over a year, Shane Bieber couldn't have made a better first impression.
The marquee trade deadline addition worked six innings against the Miami Marlins, allowing just one run and two hits while striking out nine Miami hitters. Of his 87 pitches, 55 of them were strikes.

The one run he allowed was a full-count solo home run to Javier Sanoja in the second.
The Blue Jays helped out their starter with some run support, batting in three before Bieber first took to the mound.
The right-hander already owned impressive career numbers, posting a 3.23 ERA and a 62-32 record in 845 innings over his seven-season career, taking home a Cy Young Award in 2020.
Bieber, who previously spent his entire career with the Cleveland Guardians organization, was shut down in April 2024 after just two starts when he underwent Tommy John surgery to repair his UCL.
The Blue Jays acquired the California native at the 2025 deadline, sending prospect Khal Stephen to Cleveland in exchange.
