nah not really. Maybe the last 20 min, but overall if you never see this movie, you're not missing out on anything.

Hopeful for a Director's Cut now that Nia DaCosta's done with The Marvels. I enjoy most of the movie every time I watch, but they clearly messed with something during the COVID delay and the film is jumbled as a result. The climax + the prep school scene in particular feel like producer/studio interference.

Just saw this recently and thought it was underrated. The cinematography was beautiful, I thought the new Candyman was solid, cool to see a Tony Todd cameo. I don't think the gap between this one and the original were as far apart as people want to make it.

Yes there were scenes that were cut in this movie that should have been kept in. Like there is scene where Anthony is speaking with Helen inside the church right before he turns into a Candyman goon. The scene is actually is in one of trailers and you see the bees flying inside the church.Hopeful for a Director's Cut now that Nia DaCosta's done with The Marvels.
