


So far i like it alot. Its a 4 with room to grow.



A lot of those 4's will become 3's and 2.5's as time goes on. It's the Jay-Z factor that has people overrating it.
The album is a 3/5. C if we're using a letter grade. The production is strong, but overrated, and Jay-Z's lyrical content and subject matter are disappointing combination of shallow, repetitive, and boring. At this point it is clear to me that he doesn't have another truly great album in him. 4 out of 12 isn't bad though, I guess. That's a well over .300 batting average, though I will admit it's hilarious that this is the same man who accused Nas of having 1 hot album every 10 year average. Lol.
