1. Trae Waynes-Grimes is getting old and is not even guaranteed on the roster next year. We get his partner/replacement.
2. Todd Gurley-Linked to us a couple of times but I think its just a smokescreen, still he would add another dimension to the offense.
3. Alvin Dupree-Wouldn't be surprised if this is the pick. Cameron Wake is 33 and could be on his way out next year with a high cap hit.
4. Jaelen Strong- Would rather trade down and get him. Not a top 20 pick imo but he's good.
5. Malcom Brown-Earl Mitchell isn't anything special so a DT to play alongside Suh could be ideal although Suh is more suited to play the 3-tech where Brown plays.

Armstead is a project, too early for Perriman, Flowers and Peat are OTs while OG is a need, Collins is a SS and we need a FS, and DGB is an unknown.

We have numerous needs; MLB, #2 CB, OG, WR but have not given any clues to who we're interested in. With Parker off the board I think we go with Trae Waynes.

Flowers is the best at his position left in the board, so I'm gonna disagree with @JayStarwind. Absolutely no guarantees that Branden Albert stays healthy, and I think James proved he can handle the left tackle spot. Tannehill needs protection on the right side because Dallas Thomas is a fukking bum. Trae would also be good pick, if only because we seriously lack experience at the position. Can't complain about the best CB in the draft and if Jamar Taylor gets healthy, we could be set at CB for years to come.

Everyone else either doesn't address a need, or would be a reach.

Flowers would be tempting, but we need a #2 corner and either Peters or Waynes should be there. ILB and WR will still have quality in the 2nd or later, i feel the drop off in corners after PJ Williams is stark. only really like the top 2 as instant impact players because Jalen Collins played a very specific role @ LSU. it would be a mistake to pass on cb

Wake will need to be replaced soon, but i think the team will give Shelby more reps this year. hes played really well in limited time, id put end on the back burner until next year. other positions are def needs. Landon would be redundant with Reshad as the safeties, so i think they will stand pat there too for a year. really bad year for S

The best WRs worth getting with a high first will be gone so i think we will take Waynes who is the best CB in the draft

Yea as much as defence was upgraded....I still think we go defence first round

We need more playmakers on defense
Ilb or cb has to be the pick here

I can't take another lineman with the first anymore

As I explained given how bad and unreliable our secondary was he last 4-5 games of the season. The secondary is a huge hole. Louis Delmas was resigned but homie coming off an acl or some muscle tear. Besides grimes, everyone was trash, yes if taylor can be healthy he's decent but He hasn't been healthy since being here from my recollection. We have to take the best talent available. Trae wayans.

The thoughts of Todd Gurley here..man we need a running back.....this offense is gonna be so bad, we need a workload RB. This is genuinely tough.

I'd love to a a bruising running back like Gurley if we can get him in the 2nd or 3rd. We still need some OL help but not as bad as before. A big WR would help a lot tho.

I trust Hickey. We'll be fine

Before getting injured Gurley seemed to be those once in a generation type of players....we shall see what we do

While CB is a need we could wait until the 4th to address it by picking someone like Senquez Golson or Steven Nelson. Both fit the height-weight-speed that most of our corners have.

Gurely intrigues me. Bruh is the closest thing to AP but his knee :sadcam: Plus Miller went over 1,000 yards last year.

Why in the world are people voting for Dorial Beckham? Kid hasn't seen the field in a year and has major character issues, which Philbin has proven to have no tolerance for. He has the potential to be a steal in later rounds, but he's not going in the first.

No need for a rb, I feel like the Dolphins have a good running back in Miller, they just have to give him the carries. Seems like corner is the biggest need for Miami so Waynes here would be a no brainer.
