I'm torn between Fluker, Ogletree, and Carradine.

I voted Fluker.

Hmm any info about these guys ? . I literally haven't gave the draft one thought outside of seeing the guys we can't get. We do need Oline help your right though but who's the best player out of these choices?

I'm hoping the Teo interest is a smoke screen but I know they like people who were highly sucessful in college. But they go the best player available on there board and without me being a college football guy it's hard to say. I'm leaning towards a DE so I would say it's between Werner/Jones/Carradine with me leaning towards Werner.

would be interesting if Reese took a TE in the 1st round. if he's the most talented player available, Reese will take him. Eifert has good hands & can block...so we'll see.

Can't see the Giants taking Ogletree because of the issues off the field.

So i say either Eifert or Fluker.

:scusthov: @ these choices.

I am going with the stronger David Diehl, DJ Fluker.

fluker. protect the prince.

this is the perfect spot to take a lineman. top 12 picks should be reserved for impact/skill players, imo. you have your occasional exceptions like joe thomas, recently, but i woulda missed out. couldnt do it. the second half of the 1st to the teens is the earliest id take a lineman and we need to get younger there.

Reese will go with best available as always. I think its time to start paying attention to the LB's and/or OL.

And until draft day we won't know who's available . What was the view on jpp before we drafted him? He was thought to be a second rd right ?

The consensus seems to be:

Fluker: Most likely to get what you need from him.

Ogletree: Higher ceiling than fluker, but needs the right system and defense (cover or tampa 2 i think?) - so a lower basement.

Carradine: Highest Risk/Reward - might be a dominant d-lineman, might not be for real.

But with the Knicks finally being good again - I haven't paid nearly as much attention to NFL draft.

According to what I've read on Big Blue View - if these were the choices we had at our pick - the Giants would be ecstatic.
