Given the offseason moves, I think that they are going to attempt to solidify an intimidating front 7 by drafting Williams.

The front office is still all over the place. Whether it's an interim or a new person behind the wheel, they're going to take the conservative pick in Williams, as opposed to taking a floater on a franchise QB that will come to determine their era.

shouldnt matter as much as if they are confident in mariota or not. they have so many needs that if they arent sold on mariota as definitely being much better than mettenberger then its not worth it and they should trade down.

tbh im always an advocate of trading down from the top 5 in the NFL unless there is a super cant miss stud that fills a need. there are gems found every year deep in the draft...move back in the first round and pick up a second rounder/third rounder and more and thats a no brainer to me...especially with the cap structure

Trade back.... hopefully to a team like Cleveland with 2 picks in the 1st round.

We probably need to use multiple later picks to move up also. I'd rather have 4 picks in the top 3 rounds than 1 pick in all 7.

This team has to get a lot better in a hurry, because they have been a mess. Front office people retiring, owner dying, starting QB talking about he has lost love for the game... Mariota doesn't look to be a star, and the DT from USC doesn't play like a juggernaut to me.
