Well of those players I picked shane ray. We have to develop some type of defensive staple & it has to be the front 7, specifically the defensive line. We also need dire help at both safety positions, sadly the death of sean taylor still hunts our secondary because since then he hasn't been remotely replaced. The key is if we can get pressure with a great front 4 with blitzing lb's then it will make our corners & safeties look better.
Also with all the needs we have I wouldn't be opposed to trading back & getting more picks, but yes absolutely our 1st couple of picks have to be on the defensive & offensive line of the ball. No matter who we have at QB, can't throw off his back. Hopefully we strike gold with players who are ready day one.
they've given up on robert right
NOT AT ALL, the sensationalism of the local media there are grasping for stories but it will be up to RGIII to play well & develop more as a passer. Again I'm not sold on gruden but if he & rob don't get it done this year then they'll both be gone by the next & we'll be starting over again. Griffin had a freak injury last year & even before that with ota's, training camp & preseason he still didn't look great.
I think he still has all the tools to succeed but I saw a guy last year who frankly had no confidence, desean was a GREAT pick up & we don't need RGIII to play hero ball just manage with a strong running game along with a bend but don't break defense then we can compete.
So again we should draft Shane Rey or trade back. And the 1st 4 or 5 picks have to be defensive & offensive lineman....
