I got to Aksis with 3 low 350's on the squad bro and could only DPS 1/3 of his life imma beat this bytch tomorrow

The leveling system in this game is stupid. Destiny and the division should look at real mmo games and learn how to make a good level/loot system.

Game ain't a mmo though and a mmo style leveling system will flop on consoles. Only reason the leveling system is so grindy this time around is because this is the last content until Destiny 2. The game was supposed to release around this time but it got pushed back

that jump challenge at the iron temple. I hope that Siva piece is optional for the quest.

once you know where to go, jump challenge aint hard man...the only thing that's 'hard' is cats are used to double/triple/floating type jumping, so they naturally try to do that, but you cant do that in the space....advice: when you jump, remember to back up a lil from the rocks...i say that cause you jump forward, which will cause you to hit the rocks....

if you really want to do this shyt easily, just use a hunter...they have the most natural jump...and you basically run up the mountain with how easy it is...

I tried it myself. So many times I was close but ended up falling.

What I hate is if you jump too close to a rock it pushes you so far back.

just back up a lil from the rocks....also, dont be 'scared' to jump....by that i mean dont hesitate nor be scared to push the button cause you think you'll fall...i've seen so many people do that while going up and then end up falling cause they didnt jump far enough or run with a jump....

I didn't miss this dumbass Patrolling bullshyt. It's been over an hour and the specific Patrols I need to finish this quest simply are not popping up. Literally just riding around the entire Planet wasting time. fukk

instead of doing that, just go to orbit and come back...the patrol missions change when you do that...easiest way to get a certain mission you looking for...

also, if you see multiple of the same missions in an area, do 1 to change the others to another type of mission....

for the most part i'm do the same...unless it's something i really want to use now, i can wait till it gets dropped or i have an abundance of extra shyt to infuse...

I was watching some streams on Twitch and somebody mentioned that the max level is 400 and there's somebody that's already at 386.

Honestly, knowing that there isn't a cap on how high people can go within the 1st week, just tells me that there will be groups that completely wreck the Raid tomorrow. I mean if the Raid is 360 recommended and dudes are going to be in there in the 380s... it's a wrap for the AI

yea, max will be 400 when the hard raid drops...right now, it's only 385....the cat that's saying he's 386 would need to prove that....

as for leveling: that's cause people have experience/know what to expect/do now, has nothing to do with there not being a cap....unlike when the other dlcs dropped, there was no major change to how you level up this this time around, so people are just grinding like hell....while it aint my thing and i'm take my time, i see no issues with people doing that....if that's how they wanna play the game, that's cool....

I just went ahead and bought a 350 ghost. I know those are always a headache...

352 right now, but I'm in no rush.

that's what i shouldve bought...i bought a helm and boots instead, but after i started, realized that those marks wouldve been better used for infusing and a ghost, smh.....it's cool though, i'm in this for the long haul...i'm in no rush to level up...

I'm saying they could have had a cap for the sake of people going through it the first time. Isn't this the first Raid where the Raid Gear wasn't the way to get the highest level??? So yes, it's a Bungie problem because they switched things up to the point where people were OP for their first play through.

The previous Raids took much longer and keeping up with the groups who got it done first was much more of an 'event'. They killed that by letting the dudes who OD on this shyt do exactly that.

naw, no cap needed...a small minority of the community are gonna do what you saying, and that's cause they want to be first to brag or they got other games to play, so they trying to max out with 1 character as quick as possible....and like i mentioned in another post: this the first time there wasnt a major change to how we level up, so cats are going hard to level up....

no, this wasnt the first raid you didnt need the gear...that wouldve been king's fall...and that's cause they introduced infusing...with that, there is nothing you really have to do to hit max...you can do anything to get gear, and just infuse to get higher light level....

exactly...this game is a shooter first and foremost, and bungie got that shyt right....the division tried to be an mmo first and foremost, and that shyt got put on hold by most gamers until they make the major changes they talking about....

also, the only reason people consider the game grindy now is cause they have to actually play the game to level up....yea, you can do whatever to get higher now, but you have to put in time now doing things, unlike before when you could skip light levels fast...

thoughts:

- so far, i've had a ball with the new dlc...enough story missions to give you a taste of new shyt and add to the lore (the iron lords were monsters, damn i'm trying to be like them), and a lot of gear to chase after.....

- i love the fact that gally 'roars' when you fire rockets now....that shyt sounds so beautiful....while waiting for the count down to finish, i like to fire rockets in the air with it to hear the sound....

- i dig that the splicer fallen are aggressive as shyt and rush you....means people cant just gally through shyt....also, i find it funny that head shots can be a problem now...by that i mean, killing shyt with head shots to cause the sivi to come out after you was a nice game play touch by bungie...
