Lets not forget that Sansa would have probably gotten murked by Arya if not for Bran.

Still a shame how the show dumbed down little finger just to give Sansa a W(smh season 7 was bad). After Bran flexed on him, LF should have been on the next carriage out of winterfell.

that little weasel was on borrowed time since season 1 :what:

Did they drop the lord of the light subplot? In the world of Game of Thrones there's supposed to be this messiah figure that defeats the Night King. It's either gonna be Jamie Lannister or that guy with the eye-patch and soothing voice.
No they didn't, in fact its very important to defeating NK...

Lightbringer is the key to defeating NK...

Azora Ahai is the legendary hero who wielded Lightbringer...The "prince who was promised" is implied to be Azora Ahia reincarnated...

This is clearly Jon...

Lightbringer was forged through sacrifice, Azora Ahai killed his wife Nissa Nissa by driving his sword into her living heart...Melisandre believes she is Nissa Nissa and has said repeatedly to Jon she has to sacrifice herself...the last time we saw her she also told Varys she will be back to Westeros to sacrifice herself...Also note her flag emblem is a flaming heart...

...but she's been wrong several times...She tried to create lightbringer with Stannis but it turned out to be fugazi and that's the problem with Melisande...She is almost always wrong but she has seen shyt in the fire...

The only other person who could be Nissa Nissa is Dany...

Its all about fire...

agreed somewhat...show is still GOAT but the writing took a bit of a hit once it outpaced the source material...I hate when characters are dumbed down in order to “neatly” kill them off...I won’t say season 7 was “bad” tho...imo it just didn’t measure up to previous seasons...I felt that way about season 6 too...both seasons seemed to rely on “oh shyt—wow” moments and “clever” banter as opposed to the intricate storytelling present in seasons 1-5...these last few seasons still run circle around other shows tho

That's fair. season 7 was bad but season 5 was awful imo. Season 7 was only worth watching for the action set pieces(which were really good), everything else fall apart once you give it even a little bit of thought. Sansa's plotline, All the leaps in logic, awful dialogue, smh. Season 5? :hhh:

I'm still watching tho :yeshrug:

This would be crazy too because her being wrong on Stannis wouldn't be that far off. If true, she saw in the prophecy that Azor Ahai had to sacrifice a female, I guess she assumed it to be his daughter since he loved her the most. I just have trouble seeing Dany sacrifice herself, no matter what.

which season was the one that ended w/ sansa being raped on her wedding nite? that season was the least enjoyable for me...a lot of the scenes were not as impactful as they should’ve been imo
