Tyrion's W-L record since joining #Targset looks like LeBron in the East vs. LeBron in the West(eros)(sorry to bring that up, breh:wow:). nikka tried to compromise with the slave masters despite Grey Worm and Missandei warning against it, his battle plans resulted in the loss of Dorne and Highgarden, he proposed the wight hunt beyond the wall, and he trusts that Cersei will keep her word about this ceasefire. They're sorely missing Barristan Selmy when it comes to large-scale warfare.
Dany had legit reasons to think he is a double agent :heh:

Pawgs with dragons
Tyrion is not a war time consigliere. The Wight hunt was one of his dumbest plans.
He's a smart dude whose plans can and have worked in times of war, but he's a bit too soft. He's an ambassador/diplomat type. Tywin is the best war strategist we've seen thus far. On top of that, he was excellent at diplomacy. I would love a Robert's Rebellion thru Greyjoy's Rebellion prequel series/miniseries to get a good idea of Ned's abilities as a commander.

Agreed, but what else was there? His dumb c*nt of a sister wouldn't listen to shyt.

And had Dany not been so fukking arrogant, she would still have three dragons instead of two and the Night King would have none. It took losing Viserion for her to finally wake up. A dumb plan for an even dumber "queen".

(edited b/c I meant that Cersei was the one who wouldn't listen, not Dany. Then again, Dany didn't listen, either, which is why the NK has a dragon.)

Rewatching again Dany does need to be checked . She threatened Sansa on the low and she like the northerners is also worried about titles instead of the main battle . Jon is the only one really with his eyes on the night king ... well and his aunts ass :mjlit::mjlol:

I think the overanalyzing is a waste of time. The show USED to be deep but has been suffering from poor writing for several seasons now. It's futile to read too much into these poorly thought out plots. I don't think even the writers know wtf they're doing. The show has devolved into cheap popcorn entertainment now with mindless Michael Bay-esque action sequences.

Out of all of those i think the mission to get the wight made sense. I mean how ELSE was the rest of westeros supposed to believe them about the army of the dead? Hell Jon’s own Night’s Watch brothers barely believed him and he had fukking witnesses.

Eh, I don't think it makes sense for TYRION to propose the idea. He knows his sister better than anyone, so he should know she isn't going to help them no matter what. It would make more sense if it was Jon that proposed getting proof, after giving one of his "we all have to band together" speeches. He's naive enough to believe proof would help. I don't see why Tyrion has become so gullible. Tyrion proposing and sincerely believing that Cersei is going to send her army to help is a complete failing on his part as a strategist that thinks through problems with tremendous foresight. And it's obvious to everyone except him, which I don't find believable.

As this video pointed out, it would have made more sense as a plot if the proposal came from Cersei, especially if Dany had Jaimie as collateral to ensure Cersei follows through on her word. At least then everyone's motivations and characterizations are harmonious with who they have been up to this point. Plus it would add tangible consequences to the Loot Train battle.

Sansa is always getting saved and bailed out. Saved by Littlefinger and the Vale, saved by Theon, now even though she blind to it gonna be saved by the plan of Aegon bringing Dany and her dragons up north.
Lets not forget that Sansa would have probably gotten murked by Arya if not for Bran.

Still a shame how the show dumbed down little finger just to give Sansa a W(smh season 7 was bad). After Bran flexed on him, LF should have been on the next carriage out of winterfell.

When Sansa and Jon reunited at Castle Black she asked him where he was going. He said South to be warm and he was going to take her with him. She pleaded with him to go try to defeat Ramsay in order to get Rickon back. She didn’t make it about Winterfell she made it about family and Rickon. The Battle Of The b*stards from Jon’s perspective was to save Rickon. Sansa knew from the very beginning that Rickon was a goner but didn’t tell Jon that until the NIGHT BEFORE THE BATTLE. She put Jon’s life in danger on the foundation of a lie. Because she wanted revenge but was too weak of mind and body to get it herself. So she used Jon as her rook and Rickon as her pawn

Sansa has turned on every single family member, its laughable that Arya would hold her in any type of high esteem on the basis of family values. Thats just bad writing on the show’s part and should have never been included.

This isn't accurate. The first time she pleaded with Jon to take Winterfell back neither knew Rickon was even alive let alone at Winterfell. Ramsey sent a raven and informed them that he had Rickon and to come and get him. The Battle of the b*stards was not to save Rickon, not for Sansa, Jon or anyone else. In what world does that even make sense? Sansa told Jon she couldn't offer much military advice but that Rickon was likely a goner anyway and to not let Ramsey trick him into doing something stupid. Sansa didn't use Rickon. Ramsey did. It was always about going home for Sansa, there was no where else for them to go like she said. Ramsey provoked them into a battle because for the North to be truly his he knew he had to get rid of the Stark name for good. Had they fled he would have had them hunted and killed.
