Yeah it was weird in way but it played off the dynamic between the two in the books. They we're probably the least closest. Sansa always was put off by Arya being so unladylike and vice versa

Nah, during one of the "after the episode" pieces HBO does, Benioff and Weiss pretty much said they needed a story to fill the time in Winterfell while Jon was away and they came up with that. It's true that Sansa and Arya were never close and there's more development to that in the books, but when Littlefinger is the one trying to put them against each other, any beef they've had - show and books - is thrown out the window, logic wise.

It's the same reason they did that retarded suicide mission with impossible odds against Jon and the crew when they went to pick up a wight. Which they also said on one of those "behind the episode" vids.

"We needed something here and that's what we came up with" :manny:

Did they drop the lord of the light subplot? In the world of Game of Thrones there's supposed to be this messiah figure that defeats the Night King. It's either gonna be Jamie Lannister or that guy with the eye-patch and soothing voice.

It's either Jon or Dany, or a combination of Jon and Dany.

Eh, I don't think it makes sense for TYRION to propose the idea. He knows his sister better than anyone, so he should know she isn't going to help them no matter what. It would make more sense if it was Jon that proposed getting proof, after giving one of his "we all have to band together" speeches. He's naive enough to believe proof would help. I don't see why Tyrion has become so gullible. Tyrion proposing and sincerely believing that Cersei is going to send her army to help is a complete failing on his part as a strategist that thinks through problems with tremendous foresight. And it's obvious to everyone except him, which I don't find believable.

As this video pointed out, it would have made more sense as a plot if the proposal came from Cersei, especially if Dany had Jaimie as collateral to ensure Cersei follows through on her word. At least then everyone's motivations and characterizations are harmonious with who they have been up to this point. Plus it would add tangible consequences to the Loot Train battle.

The writing fell off but one way to explain it is all of Tyrion's guilt has finally collapsed on him

Tysha really did love him

He killed his father and his lover (however justifiable in his mind you know he's psychologically fukked up over it still)

Got his niece in Dorne killed

He's always valued life but now it's making him soft as pudding

I found this conversation between littlefinger and Sansa and when sensa mention the faceless men from Braavo's and I did not see ittlefinger react in any way. He just responded that he "had heard rumors about them and that they were worshippers of the god of death". And he also said that he did "not trust Godly men". See the 1:30 mark in this vid

Do you have an example of what you claimed about little finger and braavos?

"Our house began with my great-grandfather, a Braavosi sellsword who came to the Vale at the invitation of House Corbray" -

I don't know what ep he said that in but he knows what's up with Braavose, and there was definitely something weird about the coin and the fact that he stuck around playing his "game" knowing his life was in danger.

Out of all of those i think the mission to get the wight made sense. I mean how ELSE was the rest of westeros supposed to believe them about the army of the dead? Hell Jon’s own Night’s Watch brothers barely believed him and he had fukking witnesses.
I agree 100%. But the execution and results clearly left a lot to be desired. Hand of the King/Queen is a thankless job:francis:
