And also I'm still not sure about bran. They've been making it a point for him to let everybody know he's no longer bran anymore. Which tells me he holds no allegiance to any house. He's gonna be down for whatever God he worships, or whatever the fukk he is. Even reuniting with his family it seemed like he didn't give two fukks. He was just like "yea yea, let's get down to business bytches".....I feel like 3ER could really be playing everybody. I don't know what's gonna happen but I'm prepared for everybody to die.

What does that have to do with bran though?

That’s the point. Humanity is dead, not because bran is dead but because humanity is literally dead.

I still don’t grasp why it was so necessary for the night king to immediately get out there and kill bran himself.

If bran dies and then Arya kills the night king how is the world now doomed still?
And what does it matter if the night king kills bran now or just adds his death to the rest of humanity’s annihilation?

Seriously, why the fukk is bran so important?
You'll see. Bran is the most important person in the history of Got.

So. Cal
i dunno why peeps keep bringing up Jon and Bran wondering what their roles will be from here on out. there's only 3 episodes left, their stories are done (maybe not Jon's)

Bran might as well just go mold himself into a tree for the rest of his life :francis:

Dead on

That maisie williams quote at end, about when she found out she killed the NK and what her bf said in response seals it

“Hmmm ... Should be jon tho.. shouldnt it?”

Jon snow. Brought back to life to get into danys draws to give the night king a dragon... lord of light yall

This was hilarious

Look, I just went in to enjoy the spectacle, but the director and production team should feel bad. You can’t spend 55 days shooting one battle and let big inconsistencies and fast cuts drag down the impact of that battle, they should’ve been more meticulous there.

I've rewatched this episode several times now and I am still perplexed by that stare Bran and the NK shared.

Bran's normally stoic stance makes him hard to read, so that's a plus for him staying in character. Death was approaching him and he was still looking at something else. I couldn't tell if he was scared when NK was approaching...gave no semblance of what he was thinking or feeling at the while time.

Even when NK finally stopped and they finally stared at each other, still couldn't figure of out cause Bran didn't flinch at all at any point. NK's little head nod makes me wonder what they were communicating.

Anyone else notice this?

Yea. Bran actually looks depressed as fukk after it. Cant look him in eye. If it dont lead to something later its a let down imo but theyve been doing it for awhile so idk if i have faith.

I hope there is something deeper going on, but it is likely more bad writing.

See, I couldn't tell if it was fear or what. When he all but directly have Theon his license to kill himself, I was wondering then too. Bran/3ER is my favorite character in the series. I was so hoping to learn more about him this past episode but I'm keeping hope for the last few episodes, like you. It might pay off though. Might be some even wilder stuff coming, just like that unpredictable Arya ending.

Who knows?

That freeze frame shot of Dany about to get power tackled by 5 wights only to cut back later and she's fine:mjlol:

Sam sitting there crying and the dead don't touch him:gucci:

Jon not lighting the trench even though he's right next to it:dahell:

Episode was an absolute mess when you break it down. Not just the writing but the editing.

AND YOU SAW BRIENNE, TORMOND ETC
GET ENGULFED...

I WAS LIKE

Night King's goal is to erase mankind and 3ER being the all knowing is who he wants. Sam even said what 3ER knows isn't in books and if he wants to erase mankind, his best start is with him.
1. What difference does it make that the 3ER knows the history of mankind if he hardly every speaks? And people doesn’t know he exists? The last guy was literally hiding in a tree, completely off the grid.

2. Why couldn’t Bran just be killed by the 100,000 wights who attacked Winterfell, why did the NK have to do it himself and risk exposing himself?

3. How is the death of the 3ER a bigger problem than the literal death of humanity by the army of the dead? If there are literally no people left then why does the history of mankind matter?

YOU DONT REALIZE HOW STUPID THIS SOUNDS?

IF HE DOESNT EXPOSE HIMSELF
AND LET HIS ARMY KILL EVERYONE IN WESTEROS
BRAN WOULD BE DEFENSELESS.
