Well there was a whole battle waged over that point, it's easier for them to get rid of the b*stards than the kings brothers who had armies. The brothers def had claim over illegitimate b*stards, but those b*stards had claim over the inbred kids of cersei...should stannis be king (or any person serving as king) and legitimize one of Robb's kids (tho he wouldn't) the lannisters are cut out forever
