People are going to criticize the most visible fighter regardless. You’d think all these fighters fought each other and Tank is on the outside looking in. Tank was a somebody before Mayweather. Let’s stop that narrative now. He came under Adrien Broner. Bill Haney admitted he knew who Tank was before he ever signed to Mayweather. Next, Devin Haney was raised in that Mayweather gym and is the original YouTube boxer. There are a plethora of fighters that was signed to Mayweather that didn’t blow like Mikey Bey (Idc if I got it wrong). You just have it or you don’t when it comes to being a star. People only bring that up to hate like he’s the only fighter to fight on a Mayweather undercard.
Dragged up!? Roach himself prior to their fight said he is naturally bigger than Tank. Is Roach a weight bully? We don’t know and we really don’t give AF about him. He knows it thats why he is waiting like a 304 for their pimp.
As much as folks talk crazy about him, I’d be like f y’all too if I had the leverage. The numbers show boxing right now is dull without him. This thread has half the pages of Canelo and Bud with a fraction of the time.
That’s when the shoe dropped. I noticed not a lot of fighters themselves are hating because they’d do it. There’s no prerequisite on when you can get your money.

Why drop it if WBA isn’t tripping? You know why the WBA isn’t tripping? Because not any of those dudes can match the sanctioning fees that Tank pays. They see it as good publicity as well when the WBA title is mentioned on that Friday to over 100 million viewers around the world.

WBA made a statement, since this isnt s real fight they likely conclude tank vs roach to start the year. Main thing is if you doing this already just retire after you cash out, nothing else will get you a similar bag especially with the grind of camps and health risk so just cash outnand retire especially since you been letting us know you tired of the sport

Which is fine but this removes tank from any serious convo as far as being considered as the cream of his division.
I think he’s made it very clear that he doesn’t give AF about any of that. They’re trying to secure a fight with him not vice versa.
