I was just in New Orleans 2 weeks ago...Had a great time..loved the city..was only there for 2 days so i couldnt do much kinda got stuck in the french quarters area..planning to go back soon tho.

Fell in love with the houses in the Garden District and the area itself

Like @O.iatlhawksfan said Frenchman st is a spot it's in the Marigny if you're taking an Uber just tell them Frenchman and royal just bar hop there's plenty of spots in that area. Also there's little gems on poydras it's a plenty of brothers and sisters in there just chillin. You can try monkey board too on gravier st its got that lounge type atmosphere and it's smack in the middle of the cbd do you got the rooftop views of downtown Nola

Sadly my dad is from Opelousas. Since its so small I just considered every woman I've met there as a potential family member. Shreveport isn't anything special. I gotta spend a few nights up there next month and I'm not looking forward to it. I'm from Abbeville so I may be bias but southwest Louisiana has the best food.

Abbeville is gorgeous. New Iberia (da berry) and Lake Charles as well. Not really a fan of New Orleans except the garden district and city park. Lafayette and Jeanererette hood but cool. Opelousas and Houma the sticks. Overall I love LA. My second home. Dan (Boudin), cracklings, pecawn candy, crawfish, one pot dishes, stuffed breads.
