Kobe is so kind to us to take 6 weeks off and help the tank.

this just made me realize how great a franchise we've been. We've never willingly tank b4 like those other mickey mouse franchises

In all honesty I'm glad Kobe is missing time. He came back from his injury with a much weaker injured leg and things could have been worse. If anything it's a positive. It's not a devastating or career threatening his fracture will heal. But I hope he takes time to build strength in this injured leg. A much worse injury could have resulted.

after the Griz game Kobe asked Gasol why he cant play like that all the time, Gasol told him "oh you aint know we tanking, but I had to put on a decent show for my old team". Kobe does nott agree, but he understands. So he taking the next couple months off. This also explains Gasols recent struggles as well.
