peeped the first episode, ..eflo looks like an Elf Bart, especially with the color scheme of his clothes.

Can't help but think of her Simpsons characters whenever Tress Mcneillie's characters are on screen.

so yeah, 4 episodes in and this shows sucks on every level. it doesn't excel anywhere. the characters suck, the main 3 voice actors are crap, the animation is shaky and for some reason the pacing and sound work is amateur hour. Netflix is... not good at a lot of shyt. They basically ordered a neutered Futurama except not as interesting, much less funny, and featuring shytty characters. nice job.

The friggin Demon should be Bender pt. 2, and he's just... boring. Not sure how they're botching that character so badly.

Remember tho, futurama didn't catch till like 3 seasons in and was canceled multiple time. 4 episodes isn't enough of a chance....

i honestly couldn't tell you how i felt about Futurama when it debuted (in 99?) but i can tell you that at the very least, i know damn well i liked Fry, Bender, Leela, Zoidberg, Farnsworth etc. the characters were good from the get go. the characters in this show suck.

fair enough here... but it's a friggin professionally made show by the guy who created the Simpsons on Futurama on what is probably the most watched network/service going right now. Shouldn't we yea know, expect a polished and good show? that actually makes it worse, imo.

the extreme bulk of the stuff Netflix puts out is "meh." when we can we start holding them accountable? when they raise their prices to $25 a month?

overall, I like it. It's a slower burn. It's not quite Classic simpsons with the jokes, but it's better than most modern day simpsons' jokes. Some of'em are pretty much call backs...such as one of the jokes being structured exactly like this:
