Not that there won’t be a season 3, I meant what’s the point in introducing things in Peacemaker only to turn around and say I’m not expecting people to walk into Superman having watched Peacemaker

He means he’s going to explain the setup/ important stuff in MOT so you don’t need to see Peacemaker to understand.

If somebody wanted to start watching the Force Awakens it should be understandable without knowing the minutiae of Cloud City or Dagabah

Gunn hyped the hell out of this episode, wasn’t needed at all. There would be valid complaints even if he didn’t, but the shyt he was saying just amplified the reaction.

Not GOT level, because that was the series finale and people excused the season or two before it because we expected greatness.

. . . look back in this thread towards the beginning of the season . . . we had people including me that were thinkin that for the climaictic main-boss batlle that David Coresnsewet was gonna show up as Overman . . . . but instead we got two musical numbers.. killer Minions.. and typical Deadpool shenanigans . . .

Was listening to the Midnight Boys review the finale/season(They really didnt like it), but that makes me wonder. So Guy Gardner/green lanterns arent metahumans? Midnight Boys dont seem to think they are, they brought up how you really dont see metahumans in the show, so doesnt really make sense for the Salvation stuff being in it.

Most human GL are just humans with rings arent they? Peacemaker not a metahuman, he just using gadets/tech. Terrific just super smart and using gadgets, so he not a metahuman, right? Seems like he shouldnt be if Peacemaker isnt. They said bordeaux is a metahuman, but is that just due to the cyber eye? But how is that different from peacemaker/bloodsport?

This season was a waste of time. They should have brought in Waller because they the shyt with Flagg Sr is straight out of the Amanda Waller playbook.

Gunn really needs to cut back on the comedy and use of music. I'm not saying it's needs to be super serious like the DCEU, but not everyone needs to be a comedian.

Funny you bring up Waller. A lot of ppl dont like the Flagg stuff, especially ppl that watched creature commandos. I didnt watch it but from the posts I've seen it seems Waller screwed Flagg over in that series. Used him/had him doing stuff/ they were in a relationship etc. They said Flagg's motives and stuff dont make sense with what happened in CC.

Man a lot of that shyt didn't make sense. This felt more like a musical than anything and just got goofy but you're right I don't remember Boudreaux being a metahuman but I already knew what Flagg Sr. was up to with Salvation and knew he was gonna throw Peacemaker in there first. He doesn't care about him being a metahuman or not, he just wanted to get payback for his son. Him partying with Lex's goons just didn't feel right and was awkward. I want Amanda Waller back. Flagg Sr. is a goof in this.
So much shyt didn't get covered or just flat out got ignored. We spend all season in the Nazi-verse and that's it...nothing? No Lex follow up, no green lanterns, no Overman..nothing? It seems like he just wanted this to be a musical episode and just threw in cutting room floor scenes I just felt like a huge waste of time just to lay down the plot of MOT. Could've did that shyt in a few episodes and not hype of 8 episodes to do so and under deliver big time.
