Th judge has to be the most impartial person so any recommendation he makes is tied to the letter of the law.
They are gonna get him on the transportation of sex workers across state lines for the purposes of prostitution (The Mann Act). It's only day 4 and that's basically been proven already.
Now that charge is punishable by 10 years in prison. However I could see where the Judge might find give some leniency here. The fact of the matter is that charge is pretty much the same as regular prostitution on the state level. In NY that's a misdemeanor punishable by like 3 months in jail. The Feds supped it up in their efforts to fight sex trafficking (interesting fact the legendary rock star Chuck Berry was convicted of this). It's basically just regular prostitution with the added element of crossing state lines. Judge might look at it like that and give him time served and some probation. On the other hand he could be disgusted by the facts that have come out and use this charge to sit Puff down for a decade.

The defense has not rested. Thats the argument they are gonna try to go with maybe but the Defense will try and counter it.
There’s a reason he hasn’t taken a plea… yet. If the prosecution starts losing the case they may offer him one like they did Thug.

Don't know for sure but it's by far the easiest to prove. All they have to show is he had a sex worker cross state lines, then paid that sex worker to have sex with Cassie or whoever. One sex worker has already taken the stand and I don't believe the defense challenged him on these facts. Good chance when this is all over the jury is gonna be disgusted with Puff. They are going to want to get him on SOMETHING and this is the most likely charge.

And I think the defense is banking on the fact that she was booking these freakoffs independently of Sean.. is that not what was said/implied?
She is trying to say he forced her to do everything and the defense are going to probably show documented evidence that makes that theory debatable. So you would have to debate it being him flying pornstars around.
Again.. a “gotcha” moment where the defense (if any good) got that covered.
