I can't wait until the day when this generation of cyclists get exposed for the drugs they're using.

I mean this is ridiculous.

I asked Google about Lance Armstrong's watts per kilo and it said:

During his peak, Lance Armstrong's average power output was estimated to be around 6.5 to 7 watts per kilogram of body weight (w/kg) for sustained climbs. For example, one calculation of his power output on Alpe d'Huez in 2004 estimated it at 6.97 w/kg

That's a juiced up Lance Armstrong in 2004. Arguably his peak.

I asked it the same of Tadej Pogacar:

Tadej Pogačar's power output varies depending on the situation, but he's known for consistently achieving high watts per kilogram (w/kg) figures, especially on climbs. During intense efforts, he can sustain 6.5-7.0 w/kg for extended periods, and even peak at 7.0-7.5 w/kg for shorter durations. For example, during a 40-minute effort on Plateau de Beille in the 2024 Tour de France, he averaged 6.98 w/kg

You want me to believe this is all due to a bicycle technology?

Bought a bike from a guy in Italy several years ago who rode professionally, not at Tour level, but a professional nonetheless. Man told me everyone of the riders you see in the GC - year in and year out - are maxed out on peds. He gave up and opened a bike store in the Dolomites because he didn’t have the money for the good stuff in the early 2000s…

I Will never believe anything from a Team that have Matxin and Gianetti behind. Bruyneel being banned from the Sport and Matxin still being in, its pathetic and a disgrace to the sport. Both ran one of the most doped teams of all time.

In 06/07 Gianetti and Matxin create a team (Saunier Duval) and then spawn Ricco and other comets (Like Piepoli and Cobo). And we all knew how that ended, Matxin back at it again with Fuji and later on called GEOX with Cobo in 2011, win La Vuelta and for the surprise of nobody, accused doping later on.

Pogacar is out there racing for almost 2 yrs without a bad day :mjlol:

Dude I go on Reddit and there’s all these Pogacar defenders.

It’s not even that people are saying “he’s definitely dirty” but they get mad at anyone who even questions this stuff.

It blows my mind. Imagine some guy hits 90 HR this year. Nobody is allowed to ask “wtf is going on here”?? Because that’s how I look at Pogacar. Like you said…dude hasn’t had an off day in years. When has this ever been normal?

Pogacar defenders are likely the ones that raised flags and concerns with Vingegaard perfomance during Tour'22. But since the aim are now towards their favourite, you are not allowed to not ask or even have doubts.

But if you see the the Hautacam top-19 list, Vingegaard (2022) isn't the one that topped any of the elite dopers. Bit strange for a sus perfomance during that Tour... :pachaha:That's something they probably can't explain. All they gonna say is: "Pogacar is built different. Pogacar is the GOAT".

Like you said…dude hasn’t had an off day in years. When has this ever been normal?
It never was until Pogacar appeared. That's the funny part. And will never be normal.. At least to the people that have some sense.

Skybots about to go down. :pachaha:Picture me shocked.

It's been obvious since day 1. A team that based their staff with people from rabobank and etc.

Geraint Thomas went from a Sprinter to climb mountains like Armstrong on his best day.:mjlol:

Let alone Wiggins and Froome. Specially Froome, the guy that held onto the back of a motorcycle on the Mortirolo in the 2010 Giro. 1 year later was fighting for La Vuelta :mjlol: Disgrace.

Thomas was a Pursuiter/TTer not a Sprinter on the track. Big engine and high pain threshold. But yeah I doubt he got his climbing ability from those 35% gradient road climbs in Wales.

Tbf to Wiggins he had a 4th place in 2009 at LeTour so he had some pedigree before Sky. But that's literally his only non TT result on the road before Sky.

RoboFroome with the East African lungs making the Spanish Italians and Dutch mad by outdoping them is fine by me. .

The one good thing Sky did do is raise the level of professionalism. Their non drug margin gains did work and gave them advantages when it came to rest and recovery (treating the cyclists like elite athletes beyond the racing taking the gear can only do so much.) That had everyone else playing catch up. The jiffy bags and TUEs was the straw that stirred the drink.

Fun fact: Before he joined Sky, is best result was under..... Matxin/Gianetti on Saunier-Duval. :damn:

For some reason i did not remember that. But now that you said it, i recall a stage that Wiggins was on the yellow jersey group and Armstrong in a group behind. Then he attacked and only stopped when reached the group. He was like 33sec behind. Lance was on some ultra orange juice that day. :mjlol:

Starts at 1min10sec.

Remco cracked something serious.

On the bright side, he might be the only clean rider in the tour.
