Hate to make too many assumptions from a trailer, but i think it's safe to say Jamie Fox doesn't have to worry about his depiction of Ray Charles being outshined in the least bit...ole boy's James Brown seems on first impression to be as convincing as Ahmed Johnson as Suge Knight in that VH1 MC Hammer movie

Yeah, all i'm basing it off of is the trailer...and I come away with ZERO actual james brown vibes...if i just saw the clip with no title and no mentions of his name I would've just assumed it was about some generic singer from the 50's played by some dude in a bad conk and a non convincing southern accent...but I'll reserve final judgement for at least after seeing one actual scene
