It’s a hard spot to be in…Jones prolly didn’t want to sit knowing his team was vying for a top seed. Wasn’t smart but players usually choose to play thru it.
It's too much. He's gonna get fukking hit, especially when teams know he has a broken bone. His running ability is one of his best attributes.

I knew Jayden was gonna have a sophomore slump but GODDAMN. :mjcry:
Commanders season last year was one of the GOAT flukes
They kept acting like Jayden was the second coming of Jesus but he is just Bryce Young with twists

It wasn’t a fluke. We just didn’t come into this new season preparing for the league to figure out what made us successful last year. Aside from the injuries, if we actually got a legit running back and played more snaps under center we would be much better. Cardinals fans said the same thing happened with Kliff coaching Kyler, he doesn’t make adjustments after the league figures him out. And his QBs eventually get hurt from playing 90% of snaps out of the shotgun.

I think part of it is Indy legit doesn't have another option.

AR got injured off the field, leaving Riley Leonard as the backup. Staff probably knew there's almost no chance with Leonard.

Steichen and Ballard also on the hot seat along with Jones being desperate to prove.

As long as he was medically cleared this was probably the most likely + unavoidable outcome.
