I had seen this as a kid, but Netflix has made this relevant to me again, after years of not caring about the whole franchise. It's real sci-fi about real moral situations with great acting. OG Uhuru has an amazing ass too.

Who else fukks with this?

OG version is still piff but you gotta suspend “reality” in your mind because of the terrible special effects, make up and set design.

It’s kind of a mind fukk when you realize Discovery “starts” before the OG series yet the effects/design are literally movie quality. At this point you gotta be a Trek stan to keep that timeline straight in your brain.

Yo i been watching this lately as its kinda last show i took in

Next gen deep space and voyager are better sci fi per say

BUT

I dig the aesthetic and og kirk/spock/mccou dynamic prolly most.

Spock going savage for some p*ssy one of the goat trek eps. Plus now i understand all the next gen call backs and such.

Og is the best. Its not as sci fi by todays stabdards as its just weird overall, but its the best FEEL imo. It looks great idc what anyone says. I get it now. Kirk got whole diff energy here than in the movies as great as they are imo but they are older there. Hes in his prime here and i actually find shatner to be great in the role. Spock is also iconic and best vulcan in trek by far. I like tuvok but naaaaa.

Even supporting cast and random starfleet personel seem to get more shine versus other versions having a few key side people while everyone else is nameless. I like how random people show up for a ep here and there.

Dr pulaski was a fox as a youngin gotddamn
