They are too caught on these card games and mobile games. Square and Capcom went down the toilet. Square was my favorite developer in the SNES and PSX days and I can say now I can hardly muster any interest in their releases. Pretty sad.

A lot of you cats don't seem to realize "Dragon Quest X" is about to shut down Japan. That game is considered a national past time over there, so a new "FF" game isn't high on their list of priorities.

To a lesser extent it's kinda like how the major Nintendo franchises usually never drop around the same time.
